“ For Sept. 28- At first glance it seems Alice’s Restaurant in Skowhegan has that biker diner persona going on, but a step inside reveals real charm... nothing fancy, but quaint. And the food is outstanding. The busy servers and kitchen staff move everything right along, pushing out delicious looking plates, one right after another. I went for the Smoked Bacon Mushroom Fritata from the Specials board which was cooked to perfection. My friends had the Monte Cristo and a breakfast sandwich which were said to be excellent. The pricing here is fairly inexpensive too. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Highly recommended. ”
